The Journal of The Electrochemical Society (JES) has been in existence since 1902 and is one of the most frequently cited publications among all electrochemistry journals listed in the Journal Citation Index. JES publishes an average of 85 peer-reviewed articles each month (about 550 pages). JES publishes peer-reviewed original research covering batteries, fuel cells, corrosion, electrodeposition, sensors, bioelectrochemistry, electrochemical engineering, electroanalytical chemistry, and more, as they relate to the further understanding of processes of both fundamental and technological importance leading to the rational design and optimization of small and large scale devices.
